Mine

To the one who has her heart, 

She remembers the first time she got to know you, the first time you kissed her, the first time she gave love another chance, the first time you were crazy for her, the first time you held her hands, the first time you listened to her talk for hours, the first date where the both of you were surrounded with music, lights, and a Ferris wheel, the first time you made her fall in love with you and the first time you made her feel she finally found her one. For her, you are her whole world and without you, she does not exist either. You mean so much to her. You are her home, family and her person. She's the happiest and luckiest girl ever. And she also remembers her first fight with you and how it got worse from there onwards. How another person can ruin what you both have. Those were her worst times. She didn't even know how she went through it. Everything feels a little surreal, at times. She went through a lot of pain, physically, mentally, and emotionally. That was her darkest moments. Once it stopped, it ended for good; she was able to breathe again, even if it hurts every now and then. The worst has passed and she managed to get out of it, but there was a catch. She wasn't the same anymore. She's changed. Her insecurities, trust issues, and everything else that comes together with her back. You did not only break her heart, but her trust too, and trust, once broken; it's hard to restore it back. It's not impossible, but it's not as easy as you think either. So that's what happened to her and to make it even worse, she lost her dad at that similar time. She got out of one, only to get into another. She had no time to heal. It was overwhelming. She did not know what to do anymore. Everything seemed hopeless to her, but she did not give up and you are the reason why. She was giving you a hard time too. You know what you have done and that you have to deal with the consequences that comes with it, but you never expected it to be so difficult especially when you were living with it every day but what surprises her was that you did not give up on her. You were there day and night, every day throughout the whole thing. You did not leave her side. You held her when she was crying, never stopped telling her she's beautiful even when she don't believe it, you stayed when everyone else left her in those hard times, you made her laugh, smile even when she does not feel like it, you bring her out because you think she needs to get out of the house every now and then or else it will drive her crazy, you spent money on her when you know she was low on cash without expecting it in return, you know her in and out like no one has ever and loves her anyway, you know how strong she is and at the same time how fragile she can be, you build her hopes up every time it's down, you never stop telling her everything is going to be fine even when she doesn't believe it anymore, you are her light when all she knew was darkness. You do all of that because you wanted to and wholeheartedly. Without you knowing, you give her hope, you are her strength, you are her happiness, you are the reason why her smile hasn’t disappeared from her face, you think she's more than she ever is, you never stop loving her no matter how difficult it gets, and you love her for her and there's nothing about her you would ever want to change. But obviously, there are times she wants nothing to do with you. That's how love works, right? Not only that person is your best, but also your worst and you love them both nevertheless. Relationships are not perfect at all. You need to compromise, sacrifice, give in even when you don't want to, understands each other and lots and lots of trust. You need to learn there are similarities and also differences among you both and accept it whether you both like it or not. You have given her so much and still never stop giving. She is the happiest because of you and in her heart, till this very moment, she knows that you are the one for her, and she is the one for you. You both have finally found each other and you're meant to be together, forever and always. So thank you for always being there for her, never giving up on her, staying despite how hard it can get sometimes and most importantly, thank you for never stopping to love her and for letting her to love you in return more and more every day. You will always be the best thing that ever happened to her. She said, "My hero, my saviour, my one true love, the love of my life, my love, I love you so very much with my whole heart and with everything that I have. Thank you for saving me, making me alive, and making me take that one last chance in love and I have never regretted since. You will always be my first, my last, and my everything. You are mine and I am yours. Nothing or no one can ever come between us. So here's to us, our future together, growing old together, and many more years to come and a lifetime to spend together with. I love you."
